Create strong, random passwords instantly. Fully browser-based — your passwords are never sent to any server, ever.
Quick Presets
Click Generate to create multiple passwords at once.
Built on true randomness with no servers, no logs, no tracking.
Uses browser-native Math.random() — statistically unpredictable, no patterns, no seeds from user data.
Every password is generated entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent, stored, or logged anywhere.
Choose 8 to 64 characters. Each extra character multiplies the possible combinations exponentially.
See exactly how secure your password is in real time before copying — scored across six security factors.
Generate 5, 10, 20, or 50 passwords at once. Great for creating credentials for multiple accounts.
Jump to common configurations instantly: PIN, simple memorable, strong, maximum-security, or no-symbols.
Length is the biggest factor in password security. Every extra character multiplies crack time exponentially.
If one site is breached, unique passwords stop attackers accessing your other accounts via credential stuffing.
Bitwarden (free, open-source), 1Password, and Dashlane let you use a complex unique password everywhere.
Even the strongest password can be phished. 2FA means attackers also need physical access to your device.
Visit HaveIBeenPwned.com to see if your email appears in any known data breaches and change those passwords.
Under 8 chars or only one character type. Cracked in seconds by modern hardware.
8–11 chars with mixed types. Better, but still vulnerable to targeted attacks.
12–19 chars, 3+ types. Sufficient for most everyday accounts.
20+ chars, all types. Practically impossible to crack with today's technology.
A strong password combines length, variety, and unpredictability. Security researchers recommend at least 16 characters using a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Avoid dictionary words, names, dates, or predictable patterns like "Password123!" — these are the first things automated cracking tools try. Our generator guarantees all four character types are present and shuffled randomly.
This tool uses your browser's built-in Math.random() function to select characters from your chosen character sets. Crucially, all generation happens entirely within your browser tab — no data is transmitted to any server, and no passwords are ever logged or stored. You can safely use it for bank accounts, email, and any other sensitive service.
Generating a strong password is only half the battle — you also need to store it safely. A password manager like Bitwarden (free and open-source), 1Password, or Dashlane stores all your passwords encrypted behind one strong master password. They autofill credentials on login, flag reused or weak passwords, and alert you to breaches. Generate a strong password here, save it to your manager, and never reuse it.
