EPS is a print-production format not supported by standard image viewers or browsers. Use PortImg to convert it to PNG or SVG, which will open in anything. For the best results: convert to PNG at a large size (2000px or more on the longest edge) if you need a raster version, or convert to SVG if you need to keep it scalable. The SVG can then be opened in Illustrator, Inkscape, or any vector editor.
Not directly — browsers don't render EPS files. Convert your EPS to SVG for a scalable web version (ideal for logos), or to WebP/PNG for a raster web version. SVG is almost always the better choice for logos and icons converted from EPS because it stays sharp at every screen size.
EPS is a vector format, meaning it's mathematically defined and resolution-independent. When you convert to PNG (a raster format), the quality depends entirely on the export resolution you choose — not on the conversion process itself. Export at 300 DPI or at 2× your display size to get a crisp result.
