UP Police presets — upload first to use
Get UPPBPB-compliant images in four simple steps.
Select "Photo Resizer" for your passport photo or "Signature Resizer" for your scanned signature image.
Click or drag-and-drop your JPG file. Processing is instant and entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Click "Standard 350×450" for photo or "Official 350×140" for signature. Enter a target KB to auto-compress within the portal limit.
Confirm the compliance check shows all green, then download and upload directly to uppbpb.gov.in or apply.uppbpb.in.
Built specifically for UPPBPB portal requirements — nothing generic.
Pre-loaded with exact UP Police photo (350×450px) and signature (350×140px) dimensions. No measurement guesswork.
Real-time green/red badges verify pixel dimensions and KB limits against official UPPBPB Constable & SI specs before download.
Every operation runs in your browser tab. Your photo is never transmitted to any server — not even temporarily.
Enter 40 KB and the tool binary-searches for the highest quality that hits the target — critical for the tight 20-50 KB window.
Switch between Photo Resizer and Signature Resizer — the correct UPPBPB spec is applied automatically for each tab.
Canvas always paints white before drawing — mandatory for UPPBPB, which rejects transparent or coloured backgrounds.
Applying for multiple exams? Each tool is pre-loaded with the correct official specs.
Step-by-step articles to prepare every document your UPPBPB application needs.

Official answers to common UP Police photo upload questions.
The UPPBPB / UPPRPB online portal runs automated validation on every uploaded document. Common rejection reasons include file size outside the allowed KB range, incorrect portrait dimensions, coloured or patterned backgrounds, and photos taken with glasses. A dedicated UP Police photo resizer that enforces exact pixel counts and KB limits eliminates technical rejections before you hit submit.
From 2026 onwards, UPPRPB has made OTR mandatory for all UP Police recruitment exams including Constable and Sub-Inspector. You upload your photograph and signature once and they are reused across every UPPBPB exam. Getting it right the first time is critical: JPEG format, 350×450px, 20-50 KB, white background, face covering 50-60%, no glasses, no headgear (except religious).
Sign your name on a plain white sheet of paper using a black ballpoint or gel pen. Scan or photograph it clearly with no shadows or ruled lines visible. The final file must be 350×140 pixels and between 5-20 KB in JPEG format. Blue ink is not accepted. Our Signature Resizer tab compresses and resizes to this specification automatically.
The key difference is the maximum file size: for UP Police Constable recruitment, photos must be under 50 KB, while for Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment, the portal accepts photos up to 200 KB. Both posts require the same 350×450px portrait dimensions and JPEG format. Our Photo Resizer tab shows the applicable range and warns you if your output falls outside it.
