Up to 10 files · 50 MB each
A transparent or white-background PNG, up to 50 MB (up to 10 files at once).
Transparency becomes white, then each dark shape gets one closed outline.
Bring the DXF into LightBurn, Fusion 360 or your CAD app and scale it (it has no units).
A PNG straight from a design app has clean, sharp edges, unlike a JPG that has been saved again and again on websites and in chats, so the traced outlines follow the real shape closely. Icons, clipart, silhouettes and logos exported from Canva or a design app usually come out with smooth curves and few stray specks.
Transparent areas are filled with white before tracing, so the background drops out and only the artwork is outlined. That works for a dark logo on a transparent background. A white or light logo made for dark backgrounds has nothing left to trace once the transparency turns white, and the DXF comes out empty: use the dark version of the logo instead.
| Feature | In the DXF |
|---|---|
| Shapes | One closed POLYLINE around each dark area, and one around each hole in it |
| Colors | None: every area darker than mid-gray is outlined the same way |
| Layers | Everything on one layer |
| Units | No units: one pixel of the PNG is one drawing unit |
